Academy Museum

A celebration of film history and filmmaking, featuring immersive exhibitions, iconic movie memorabilia, and stunning views of the Hollywood Hills.

Power Yoga East

Grace's favorite yoga studio in Los Angeles. Classes are donation-based, welcoming to all levels, and offer a wonderful way to start the day. Class schedules can be found online here.

The Comedy Store

An iconic Sunset Strip institution and one of our favorite Los Angeles experiences. The club is famous for surprise appearances by legendary comedians testing new material. Rob has been fortunate enough to see unannounced sets from Dave Chappelle, Nikki Glaser, Jerry Seinfeld, Sebastian Maniscalco, Kevin Hart, Bill Burr, Martin Lawrence, and many others.

Dodger Stadium

A Los Angeles institution and a must-visit for baseball fans. Grace is an avid Dodgers fan, as is Rob’s father. Although Rob insists he is not much of a sports person, Grace remains unconvinced after he stayed awake until 3:00 a.m. to watch the Dodgers win an 18-inning World Series game. Guests arriving early may be able to catch one of the Dodgers’ final regular season home games, and October brings the excitement of postseason baseball to Los Angeles.

LACMA

The largest art museum in the western United States and home to a remarkable collection spanning centuries and cultures. Be sure to visit the famous Urban Light installation just outside the museum.

The original Farmers Market

A Los Angeles landmark since 1934, featuring an eclectic collection of restaurants, specialty food purveyors, and independent shops. We especially love Monsieur Marcel, a wonderfully eclectic French market and bistro, and Light My Fire, a kiosk that seems to carry every hot sauce imaginable.

The New Beverly Cinema

A beloved revival theater dedicated to screening films on 35mm. Every showing begins with vintage cartoons and trailers, making it a uniquely nostalgic Los Angeles experience. Be prepared for a famously strict no-cell-phone policy.

The Stahl House

Case Study House No. 22 is One of Los Angeles' most iconic examples of modern architecture and one of Grace's favorite homes in the city. Reservations are required, but the sweeping views of the city and the Hollywood Hills make it well worth planning ahead.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

Founded by George Lucas, this remarkable new museum celebrates storytelling through art, illustration, comics, photography, film, and popular culture. Highlights include pieces from Lucas's personal collection, featuring artifacts and memorabilia from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and other landmark works of cinematic storytelling.

Tower Bar

Located inside the Sunset Tower Hotel, Tower Bar is one of Los Angeles’ most iconic dining rooms. If you’re looking for a classic Hollywood experience, this is it. Grace and Rob firmly believe it serves the best burger and martini in the city.

La Dolce Vita

A timeless Italian restaurant with old-school Hollywood charm. Be sure to ask about Frank Sinatra’s favorite booth. It also holds a special place in our story as the restaurant where Rob met Grace’s father for the first time.

Galerie

One of our favorite restaurants in Los Angeles for a long, leisurely dinner. The French-inspired menu, beautiful dining room, and warm atmosphere make it a perfect date-night destination. As an added bonus, it’s where we took our engagement photos.

Pizzeria Mozza

One of Los Angeles’ most beloved Italian restaurants, known for its wood-fired pizzas, exceptional wine list, and lively atmosphere. It was the setting for Grace and Rob’s first real date and later became the place where Rob met Grace’s mother and stepfather.

Musso & Frank

A Hollywood institution since 1919, complete with red leather banquettes, white-jacketed servers, and impeccably made martinis. Stepping inside feels like traveling back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. It’s the only reason to brave Hollywood Boulevard, in our opinion.

Saltie Girl

For those craving seafood, Saltie Girl brings a taste of the East Coast to Los Angeles. The raw bar and shellfish selection are exceptional, and it’s one of our favorite spots for a celebratory meal.

Casa Madera

A lively, upscale Mexican restaurant known for its beautiful setting and elevated Mexican cuisine. After executive producing a show there, Rob became friends with the team, who graciously found us a table on an otherwise impossible Saturday night.

Sushi Note

Tucked away in Sherman Oaks, this intimate twenty-seat sushi and wine bar is worth the drive. Chef Saito’s omakase is extraordinary, and if you ask us, it’s the best sushi in Los Angeles, if not the world.
